Dr. Boone Represents WVU Cancer Institute at PurpleStride

Brian Boone, MD, a WVU Cancer Institute surgeon specializing in pancreatic cancer and other abdominal cancers, and three of his sons participated in the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCan) PurpleStride in Pittsburgh on Saturday (April 27). The WVU Cancer Institute was a sponsor.

Pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers, and supporters took steps together at nearly 60 PurpleStride events across the nation to honor everyone affected by the disease, and to raise awareness and funds to end pancreatic cancer.
