Dr. Dudeja to give presentation on gastrointestinal cancer treatment during Laurence S. & Jean J. DeLynn Lectureship event

A visiting professor from the University of Alabama at Birmingham will give a presentation on the role of the gut microbiome as a target for the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers during the Laurence S. & Jean J. DeLynn Lectureship event on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m.

The presenter will be Vikas Dudeja, M.D., FACS, a professor and the director of the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His presentation is titled, “The ‘Gut Feeling’ - Past, Present and Future Role of Gut Microbiome as a Target for the Treatment of Gastrointestinal Cancers.”
