Percival L. MacLachlan Award

This award was established in 1963 by Michael J. "Mickey" Moore, MD and perpetuated by the Class of 1946 in memory of Percival L. Mac Lachlan, PhD (1907 - 1948) who was a member of the faculty in Biochemistry from 1936 to 1948. Dr. Mac Lachlan was "a teacher who demonstrated unusual teaching ability and a sincere interest in the progress of the entire class." This award is selected by the second year medical students in the School of Medicine in recognition for excellence in teaching basic medical sciences.
