Endocrinology advanced practice providers available for diabetes consults

Advanced practice providers from the WVU Medicine Endocrinology are available for consults on inpatients with diabetes or unregulated sugars at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.

To reach the new Inpatient APP Diabetes Consult Service, enter an Epic consult for endocrinology and send a page to indicate that you have a diabetes consult.

An APP will meet with the primary care team and provide recommendations each day on how to adjust insulin and diabetes medications to help achieve better sugar control.
