Eye Institute administrator named to academic ophthalmology council

Craig Campbell, the administrator for the WVU Eye Institute, has been named an at-large member of the Administrator Council of the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology (AUPO). His two-year term begins April 1.

AUPO is a multi-national (US and Canada) organization dedicated to research, education, and patient care for academic ophthalmology. Founded in 1966, it initially included only chairs of ophthalmology divisions, but it expanded to include department administrators in 2017.

The Administrator Council is responsible for being the voice of academic administrators across the country, providing input for annual meetings, compensation surveys, and other AUPO initiatives.
