First Year WVU Medical Students Attend Fun Day of New Skills and New Friends

First year medical students at West Virginia University in Morgantown had an opportunity to meet their fellow classmates and learn new skills recently at a day full of workshops and team building exercises that included hiking, fly fishing, art, candy bouquets, Dutch oven cooking, cornhole, smoothie making, clogging and much more.

A portion of the class will have the opportunity in their third and fourth year clerkships to study at the WVU School of Medicine’s Charleston Campus and it’s teaching hospital Charleston Area Medical Center.
