Four-hour class on elderly care available Sept. 30
"Making a Difference – Compassionate Care for the Elderly," a four-hour class featuring multiple speakers with expert knowledge related to the elderly population, is being offered to employees this fall. The course topics include an overview of geriatric nursing, workforce planning, rehab/PT/OT, spiritual care, and cultural diversity, as well as information about geriatric RN certification.
To register for the class, enroll in NetLearning. Two class times are available on Monday, Sept. 30 – 7:30-11:30 a.m. and 12-4 p.m. The class will be held in CEOD Training Room 3 at the Operations Support Center. See this flyer for more information. Four contact hours are provided for those attending and completing the class.
