Graduating students invited to register for multicultural celebration

The West Virginia University Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Multicultural Graduation Celebration ceremony intentionally highlights and honors culture and celebrates diversity.

The 2023 Celebration for the Morgantown campus will be held Monday, April 17, at 6 p.m. in the Mountainlair Gluck Theatre. A reception will follow.

At the celebration, all multicultural students who have registered by the deadline (extended to April 3) will be individually recognized for their academic accomplishments. Participating graduates will receive a cultural stole to wear over their graduation robe during the official commencement ceremonies.

Students who wish to be recognized at this celebration must RSVP by April 3.
