Health Sciences begins website content migration process Nov. 24

Over the next several months, all Health Sciences website content will be moved into a modern, cloud-based content management system (CMS). This update ensures that our sites align with WVU’s current visual identity and provide a more consistent, user-friendly experience for site visitors.

In addition, this update ensures sites meet accessibility requirements, keeps the Health Sciences web presence on-brand, ensures sites are optimized for AI search engines, and prioritizes user experience best practices.

The first wave of sites that will be migrated to the new CMS includes sites that fall within the main Health Sciences umbrella and will begin the week of Nov. 24. All HSC School-level and Research sites will be updated on a rolling timeline over the next several months. Direct communication will occur with School leadership before the implementation of updates.

While the majority of the core content and website addresses (URLs) will remain the same, departments and programs with significant updates will be notified by direct email prior to their migration.

Thank you for your partnership in ensuring our sites meet modern technology requirements and the university’s brand standards. Support and requests for changes to Health Sciences websites can be accessed on the Health Sciences Website Support site.
