HSCommunity is a newsletter from the Health Sciences Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Subcommittee on Communications.
From the moment we start our day, the similarities in our experiences to those around us can be vastly different. While we experience many of the same types of things every day, we experience them in different ways due to various circumstances throughout our lives.
As leaders in healthcare, it’s essential that we recognize, accommodate and empathize with those with whom we interact in our professional and personal lives.
Your personal experiences and circumstances matter. Below, we're asking you to share your experiences and attitudes towards a health-related situation. Once we gather your anonymous responses, we will share these experiences with our community in a future message, so we can learn and grow together.
In the future, we invite you to look for the ENGAGE section of this HSCommunity message for additional topics on which you can share your lived experiences.
