Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis graduate student awarded at annual Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Symposium

Dylan Thomas, an immunology and microbial pathogenesis doctoral student in the Microbiology, Immunology, and Cell Biology Department, was recently awarded first place for his podium presentation titled, "Predictive Potential of MPO Activity in Melanoma Immunotherapy Response," at the 14th Annual Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Symposium at Duquesne University.

The symposium was held December 2nd and was hosted by the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists student chapters of West Virginia University, Duquesne University and the University of Pittsburgh.

He is a graduate student in the lab of Tracy Liu, Ph.D.
