Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis graduate student awarded at annual Translational Research Cancer Centers Consortium

Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis graduate student, Angisha Basnet was presented with the AAI Young Investigator Award for her presentation titled, “Unraveling the role of myeloperoxidase during pancreatic cancer progression and immunotherapy response” at the 2024 Translational Research Cancer Centers Consortium.

She is a graduate student in the lab of Dr. Tracy Liu, Ph.D. in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cell Biology.

This annual consortium was held Feb. 21-23 at the Seven Springs Ski Resort in Champion, Pennsylvania. The TRCCC was formed in 1998 to expedite the progress in immunotherapy and other biologic therapies.
