Judi's Journey with Alzheimer's

Neurological surgeons, neurologists, and neuropsychologists at the West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute were the first in the world to use focused ultrasound to treat a patient with Alzheimer's disease. Judi Polak is the first patient to undergo the phase II clinical trial led by Ali Rezai, MD, the Institute's leader. Polak is a former neonatal intensive care unit nurse at WVU Medicine Children’s.
