Medicine Grand Rounds: Innovation Award winners to present projects

Winners of the Department of Medicine's Innovation Awards will discuss their projects during the Department of Medicine grand rounds on Friday, Nov. 17, at 8 a.m.

The presenters will be Danielle DeCicco, M.D., Ph.D., Andrea Labus, M.D., Rachel Leonard, M.D., FCCP, and Jenna Sizemore, M.D.

Dr. DeCicco is a resident in the Department of Medicine Residency Program. Her project is titled "iSleepFirst: Resident Burnout, Fatigue, and Wearable-tracked Deprivation."

Dr. Labus is an assistant professor for the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine and the associate program director for the MS III Clerkship. Her project is titled "Narrative Medicine."

Dr. Leonard is an associate professor for the Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and the critical care medicine program director. Her project is titled " Inhaler Workshop."

Dr. Sizemore is an associate professor for the Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine and the internal medicine associate program director. Her project is titled "LGBTQ+ Patient STEPS & Telemedicine Devices in Rural Patients.

The presentations will be held online via Zoom and in person. The in-person presentations will take place in the Fukushima Auditorium on the first floor of the Health Sciences Center near the entrance to the Dental Clinic.
