Medicine Grand Rounds: Visiting professors to give presentation on reducing faculty anxiety by improving faculty teaching skills

This week’s Department of Medicine grand rounds will feature a presentation from visiting professors Andrew Orr, M.D., MSEd., Margot E. Cohen, M.D. MSEd., and Ashok Linganna, M.D., MSEd., on reducing faculty anxiety by improving faculty teaching skills.

Dr. Orr is a professor of clinical medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and co-director of the Internal Medicine Sub-internships at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Cohen is a professor of clinical medicine in the Section of Hospital Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Linganna is an associate director for UME for the Department of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine.

The group will be giving a presentation titled “How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Teaching Rounds; Reducing Faculty Anxiety by Improving Faculty Teaching Skills.” The presentation will be held over Zoom on Friday, May 6, at 8 a.m.
