New inpatient residential drug treatment facility to open in 2018

A new inpatient residential drug treatment facility in Monongalia County will be the first of its kind in the state when it is completed.

WVU Medicine will lease and operate the facility, which will have 32 residential treatment beds and 12 detox beds. The center will employ 37 people when fully staffed.

Chestnut Ridge Center will oversee patient treatment. Recovery Properties LLC is building the facility at a cost of $12 million. The center is tentatively scheduled to open in early fall 2018 near Mylan Park.
