New PT Faculty Member: Yu–Jen “Eugene” Chang PT, MS, PhD

The Division of Physical Therapy is excited to announce the addition of a new PT Faculty member. Yu-Jen “Eugene” Chang PT, MS, PhD will be joining the faculty later this semester. Dr. Chang earned his PhD from the prestigious University of Southern California Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. Dr. Chang also holds a Bachelors degree and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the National Taiwan University. His PhD focused on the neuromechanical adaptations to Achilles tendinosis under the mentorship of Dr. Kornelia Kulig. Dr. Chang will be joining Dr. Davis, Professor Timko, Dr. Corrie Mancinelli, and Dr. Carol Waggy as part of the musculoskeletal track. He will also assist with teaching in the Evidence-Based track. He will continue to pursue an active research agenda related to Achilles tendinosis. Dr. Chang compliments the current faculty and will help elevate the programs’ education and research mission in the area of lower extremity orthopedic management.
