Office of Continuing Medical Education offers Simulation Certificate Program

The WVU School of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education is offering a Simulation Certificate Program, with sessions on June 23-24 and October 28-30, 2026, at the WVU Health Sciences Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Conducted in WVU’s state-of-the-art STEPS Simulation Center, this intensive immersion course is designed for clinicians who want to expand their simulation education knowledge and skills through hands-on training with cutting-edge technology taught by industry experts.

Simulation is integrated into most clinical education programs, and the need for qualified instructors who understand new and emerging technology and the ability to provide clear and objective feedback to learners is in great demand. The use of simulation education and training creates a safer environment for patients and improves healthcare delivery.

Throughout the program, participants will be engaged in an interprofessional approach to experiential learning with the opportunity to earn Continuing Education credits.
