OT Alumni Spotlight: Chelsea Churchfield
On the first day of OT Month 2022, WVU OT Alumni Chelsea Churchfield, MOTR/L presented a workshop at AOTA Inspire Annual Conference.
Along with her co-presenter, Churchfield presented the workshop entitled "How Do YOU Adapt? Treating the Patient with COVID 19." This three hour workshop provided education on acute and chornic effects of COVID-19 on multiple body systems, best practices interventions across multiple care settings, and interdisciplinary collaboration that can meet unique needs.
Churchfield is a 2008 alumna of the WVU Division of Occupational Therapy and currently serves as a clinical director for Genesis Rehab Services. She has clinical expertise as an occupational therapy practitioner in both the US and China. She holds certifications from Cornell University in Healthcare Change and Leadership and Executive Healthcare Leadership. She has a passion for clinical development and mentorship.
