Runnin' for Research

Event Location: Cheat Lake Park, Morgans Run Road, Morgantown

The Runnin' for Research 5K run and one-mile walk are set for Saturday, Sept. 28, at Cheat Lake Park, Morgans Run Road, Morgantown.

Organized by David Watson, MD, chair of the WVU Department of Neurology, the event supports headache and migraine research, and advocacy efforts. WVU Medicine is a sponsor of the event.

Continuing this year is the "Virtual Runner" for anyone who wants to take part and support our event, but can't actually be on site. You can choose to run a 5K or walk a mile while the event occurs, or rest at home knowing you are supporting a great cause. 

The cost to participate is $25 for the 5K or one-mile walk and $20 to be a "Virtual Runner." All participants, except "Virtual Runners," will receive a T-shirt. For more information, including online registration, visit the race website.
