Silent Witness Exhibit set for Oct. 5-12

To honor those murdered by acts of domestic violence, the Women’s Resource Center invites the WVU community to the Silent Witness Exhibit, a collection of 19 life-sized silhouettes that soundlessly scream out for victims who can no longer speak for themselves.

Silhouettes represent West Virginians murdered by domestic violence between 2019-2020. Notably, most female victims were murdered by a current or former intimate partner, while most male victims were murdered by other various family members.

EXHIBITION OPEN: Oct. 5-12 Vandalia Lounge, Mountainlair

OPENING RECEPTION AND VIEWING: Oct. 5, 3 p.m. Mountainlair Ballrooms
