WVU STEPS to offer Simulation Certificate Program in Feb.

The WVU Health Sciences David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS) and School of Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education will host a 3-day immersive Simulation Certificate Program Feb. 25-27 on the Health Sciences Campus in Morgantown.

Course highlights include hands-on training, expert faculty, comprehensive curriculum, networking opportunities and a certificate of completion.

The program is open to anyone interested in advancing their simulation skills, including healthcare educators, clinical instructors, simulation technicians and medical and nursing professionals.

The registration fee of $1,500 covers sim one, two and three instruction. WVU Health Sciences faculty may enroll for a reduced rate of $750, and a limited number of scholarships are available.
