Three nursing faculty earn ACUE certification
MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — Three WVU School of Nursing faculty have earned their Certification in Effective Teaching from the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE).
Mike Bellisario, Kelly Lemon, and Dr. Mohammed Quazi successfully completed their requirements for the certification in July.
This achievement symbolizes mastery and effective use of the essential pedagogical knowledge, strategies, and practical skills necessary to foster student engagement, promote meaningful learning, and excel as an impactful instructor at the collegiate level.
The certification signifies a commitment to excellence in teaching and confirms preparation for impactful instruction within the modern higher education landscape.
Research consistently demonstrates that ACUE-certified faculty boost student engagement, improve grades and course completion rates, and strengthen retention, which help more students stay on track to complete their studies and prepare for bright futures.
Congratulations!
