WVU Medicine United Way campaign underway

"Change Starts Here" – that's the theme of this year's United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties' community campaign.

The United Way campaign goal is $1.48 million. Dollars raised will provide support for 47 programs at 25 local health and human service agencies that focus on the building blocks for a better life for all: health, education, and financial stability.

Over the years, WVU Medicine and its employees have contributed more than $1.6 million to the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties. This year's campaign goal is $205,000.

Contributions will help ensure that the United Way continues to have the resources it needs to make a difference in the lives of those in our community. The easiest way to make a donation is through the online ePledge system.

Employees also have the option of completing a WVU Medicine United Way pledge card. It can be turned into a department coordinator or sent to Becky Wright through campus mail.
