A visiting professor from UCLA will give a presentation on advanced retinal degeneration as a part of the Visual Sciences Center of Biomedical Research Excellence Seminar Series on Friday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m.
The speaker is Alapakkam P. Sampath, Ph.D., the vice chair and a professor for the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to his ophthalmology roles, Dr. Sampath also serves as a professor for the Department of Neurobiology. His presentation is titled "Cones and Cone Pathways Remain Functional in Advanced Retinal Degeneration."
The presentation will be held in HSC North, Room 3129. No registration is required, and anyone is welcome to attend.
