Williams set to showcase art exhibit at Monongalia Arts Center
H. James Williams, M.D., a professor in the Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Laboratory Medicine, will have an art exhibit on display at the Monongalia Arts Center at 107 High St. in January.
“The Art of Seeing – How Dr. H. James Williams blends pathology, painting and poetry to reveal the beauty hidden in everyday life," will be on display for the entire month of January. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
An opening reception will take place on Friday, Jan. 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Monongalia Arts Center.
The exhibit showcases a collection of Williams’ paintings and poems. Williams said that his love of art, which includes colors and patterns, made a career in anatomic pathology, which also includes colors and patterns, a perfect fit.
