WVU Division of OT Kicks off OT Month
Friday, April 1, 2022

April is Occupational Therapy Month - a time honor our vital profession and the meaningful differences it makes in the lives of our clients. Each April, the WVU Division of Occupational Therapy engages in a number of initiativies to celebrate unique role our profession plays in the healthcare team.

Kicking off OT month, a number of WVU OT Faculty and students are currently attending the 2022 Inspire Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas. Thus far, we've attended a number of poster sessions, short-courses, workshops, and panel discussions.

We listended, learned, laughed and cried during the heartfelt keynote address by Dr. Bertice Berry. As a sociologist, best-selling author, and an award-winning lecturer, Dr. Berry entertained and inspired a group of in-person and virtual attendees.

Follow our Facebook page "WVU Division of Occupational Therapy" to celebrate each day during the month of April. Daily posts will include a variety of topics including: the WVU OT students engaged in classroom and laboratory learning activities, alumni spotlights, and occupational therapy information.
