WVU Medicine Children's Summit is Nov. 8-9

WVU Medicine Children’s will host a summit, “Hospital-based Maternal and Child Healthcare: Focus on the Non–academic Center,” Nov. 8-9.

The event begins Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6-8 p.m.in the Bruce McClymonds Conference Center at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and continues Nov. 9 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Morgantown.

Attendees are encouraged to participate in a meet-and-greet session on Nov. 8 at 6:15 p.m., featuring Amy (Bush) Marone, vice president of clinical operations and chief operating officer of WVU Medicine Children’s, and Cheryl Jones, chief nursing officer of WVU Medicine Children's.

The goal of the summit is to enable participants to acquire new knowledge in maternal and child health. WVU Medicine will provide 6.0 contact hours to those who attend and complete all activities.
