WVU Medicine to launch Staffing Solutions program

WVU Medicine is launching Staffing Solutions, a system-wide resource pool of nurses that travel to any of WVU Medicine hospitals and/or clinics to supplement critical staffing shortages and vacancies. The program will be part of the Strategic Staffing Solutions Department.

Program eligibility guidelines for internal employees include a minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed RN; commitment to the program for one year; and actively working in their current role for 12 months without a corrective action at Level 2 or above in the previous 12 months.

Staffing Solutions nurses will enjoy employee benefits based on full-time equivalent status, short- and long-term assignments, and competitive pay.

Hiring for this program will begin on April 1, at which time open requisitions will be available on the WVU Medicine Careers site under the WVU Medicine Staffing Solutions section.
