HSC community invited to WVU Arbor Day Tree Planting at Health Sciences

The WVU Health Sciences community can join the WVU Tree Campus committee on Friday, April 24 from 1 to 1:30 p.m. for the Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony.

A new tree will be planted on the Health Sciences Center Campus, near the memorial garden on the lawn below the Pylons entrance. WVU celebrates its Tree Campus designation every spring with a ceremonial planting and a traditional reading of the Arbor Day proclamation.

In addition to the ceremony, participants will also learn more about how the organization is protecting and caring for current trees and increase tree diversity on campus.
