WVU Anesthesia Interest Group
The Anesthesiology Interest Group is a student led club for medical students at the WVU School of Medicine with support from anesthesiology faculty and residents. The club hosts meetings throughout the year on dates and times convenient for medical students with topics such as Introduction to Anesthesiology, Subspecialties of Anesthesiology, and Q&A with the Residency Program Director. In addition, the club hosts fun workshops for skills like intubations. AIG provides students a casual environment to learn more about anesthesiology and get to know residents and faculty of the department.
