Applying to the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship
The applicant must have completed (or be on track to complete) an ACGME-accredited general adult psychiatry residency program and be eligible to obtain a valid West Virginia medical license or educational training permit prior to the start date (July 1). Additionally, applicants must either be a US Citizen, hold a J-1 Visa, or Green Card.
How to apply
Our program uses the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to process applications. Visit the ERAS website to learn more and to apply to our program.
Applicants may apply via ERAS for academic year 2026-2027. Most interviews will occur prior to November 1, 2025, although some interviews may continue to be scheduled after this date. We participate in the NRMP Medicine & Pediatric Specialties Fellowship MATCH. Our rank list is due for submission/certification on November 19, 2025. Match Day is December 3, 2025.
