Obstetrics and Gynecology Physicians

West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division is seeking a Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Berkeley County, WV. WVU offers a highly competitive and comprehensive recruitment package which includes occurrence-based malpractice.

Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the areas of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

  • Outpatient only, no hospital call required.
  • OB Hospitalist cover deliveries.
  • Option to deliver select patients at Berkeley Medical Center if desired.
  • Ability to be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Women and Children’s Services is a division of WVU Children’s Hospital
  • Over 1,000 births annually
  • Level 3 NICU
  • Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist Service with dedicated Pediatric Unit
  • 195 licensed bed facility EXPANDING 170 additional beds in new 8 story patient tower
  • EPIC

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent State medical license and DEA registration is required by start date.
  • Successful candidate must have completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program, as well as Obstetrics and Gynecology fellowship program.
  • Successful candidates must be board certified / eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
