Admissions Timeline

Important Deadlines

Please note that you must submit your application or secondary application materials by 11:59 PM on the deadline date.

  • August 1: Early Decision Program Deadline
  • August 31: Early Decision Secondary Application Deadline 
  • October 1: MD/Ph.D. Program Application Deadline
  • November 1: Regular Decision Deadline
  • November 1: MD/Ph.D. Secondary Application Deadline
  • December 1: Secondary Application Deadline
  • May 2: MD/Ph.D. Commit to Enroll Date
  • July 1: MD Commit to Enroll Date

Admissions Timeline

  • May 28th: AMCAS opens for submissions - This is a great time to apply!
  • June 30th: We start receiving processed applications
  • August: Early Decision Application Deadline for both AMCAS and Secondary Applications.
  • September: The interview process begins. All early-decision applicants will be interviewed this month!
  • October: Applicants will start being notified of their admissions status on a rolling basis following the standards of notification set by the AAMC traffic rules.
  • November: Regular Decision Application Deadline.
  • February: Interviews conclude.
  • April: Admitted students will be invited to a second look weekend. Students holding multiple accepts are required to accept or decline all offers but one by April 30th.
  • May - July: Applicants remaining on the waitlist will continue to be considered if a seat in the class becomes available. 

Waitlist

Our waitlist is a group of applicants who will be considered in the event of a vacancy in the class. It is made up of those whom the Committee on Admissions feels are qualified applicants. We continue to use a Holistic Review Process as we evaluate candidates to fill vacated positions. Candidates may be accepted from the waitlist up until the start of the academic year.
