Research Interests

The Latifi Lab investigates how brain networks organize, adapt, and reorganize in health and neurological injury. We combine in vivo multiphoton and miniature microscopy, multiscale connectomics, noninvasive neuromodulation, and advanced AI/ML approaches to characterize and manipulate neuronal networks and decode behavior. Our research aims to identify network mechanisms of functional recovery and develop targeted strategies to promote brain repair after stroke and traumatic brain injury.
