The NLM Georgia Biomedical Informatics Course…all expenses are paid for you

The NLM Georgia Biomedical Informatics Course is an intensive, week-long continuing education course. From the course description: “Biomedical administrators, faculty and others who can become change agents for their institutions are strongly encouraged to apply. All costs for the course including travel, housing, and per diem are supported by NLM…The course provides attendees a diverse set of skills and experiences incorporating concepts, theories and building blocks of biomedical informatics; the ability to use informatics for solving current health care challenges; application and policies related to computer technologies and information science; hands-on experience during evening workshops; and networking with nationally known bioinformatics educators and thought leaders.”

Augusta University and NLM are pleased to announce that the application period for the NLM Georgia Biomedical Informatics Course for 2017 is now open. There is one application form for both the Spring (April 2 - 8) and Fall (Sept. 10  - 16) courses. The application period opens October 14, 2016 and will close on December 5, 2016 at 8:00am EST (note: NOT pm). We look forward to receiving your application.
