About Emma

Emma Swiger is from Fairmont, WV. She is a sophomore in the Immunology and Medical Microbiology program. Emma says she has wanted to be a doctor since she was in Kindergarten. She wants to become a pediatric oncologist which would fuse together her love of children, the medical sciences, and aiding those in need. She chose IMMB as her undergraduate major because combines research and hands-on-experience to allow for the development of skills she will need in medical school. Outside of the classroom and lab, she loves to cook and bake!
