Division of Physical Therapy earns 100 percent reach for APTA membership challenge

West Virginia University’s Division of Physical Therapy program has been honored by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for demonstrating student commitment to their professional organization.Reach rate

WVU had 100 percent participation in the 2019 Reach 100% APTA Student Membership Challenge.

Reach100 is a nationwide call for membership for physical therapy students to demonstrate their commitment to improving the health and quality of life of individuals in society by advancing physical therapist practice, education, and research, and by increasing the awareness and understanding of physical therapy's role in the nation's health care system.

APTA represents more than 100,000-member physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, and students of physical therapy.
