Dr. Elbakry Completes 100th Single Port Reconstructive Procedure

The Section of Urologic Reconstructive Surgery is rapidly approaching a major clinical
milestone. Amr Elbakry, MD is set to perform his 100th single port reconstructive procedure in
June.

What makes this achievement particularly remarkable is the timeline. After completing his Urology residency training at WVU,followed by a fellowship in GU Reconstructive Surgery at NYU, Amr officially joined the faculty in October. Reaching nearly 100 complex cases in just eight months highlights both his incredible dedication and the fast growing demand for this specialized care.
