Medicine Grand Rounds: Visiting professors to give presentation on clinical reasoning

This week's Department of Medicine grand rounds will feature a presentation on clinical reasoning from two visiting professors.

The presenters are Pranav Shah, M.D., MSEd, an assistant professor for the Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina and the Ralph H. Johnson VA and Vatsal Bhatt, M.D., an instructor for Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Drs. Shah and Bhatt will be giving a presentation titled “Clinical Reasoning 201: Practical Approaches to Diagnostic Dilemmas.” The presentation will focus on understanding the tenets of clinical reasoning, analyzing clinical reasoning with a medicine case and applying debiasing techniques in daily clinical practice. It will be held on Friday, Oct. 7, at 8 a.m. via Zoom.
