New course for Spring 2025: Psychosocial Aspects of Disease Management (SBHS 693)
Psychosocial Aspects of Disease Management will be held Thursdays from 2-4:50 p.m.
In this special topics course, led by Ranjita Misra, Ph.D., students will learn and practice skills in psychosocial factors that impact chronic disease management with a focus on Appalachia and rural populations. The course will include conceptual and practical tools used in assessing and evaluating psychosocial factors that impact physical and mental well-being of patients with chronic diseases.
Priority enrollment for public health students. Graduate and professional students from the Health Sciences and other campus disciplines may be eligible to enroll (first come, first served) with instructor permission.
