Urology Fellow Completes Advanced Practice Program
Tessa Cesario, PA-C, recently graduated from the 12-month pilot WVU Urology Advanced Practice Fellowship Program.
Tessa graduated Aug. 1 and will join the WVU Medicine Department of Urology as a permanent advanced practice provider (APP).
J. Brandon Arruda, APRN, AGNP-C, CUNP, program director, commended Tessa, saying she was an outstanding fellow during her time in the program.
The first-of-its-kind program in West Virginia highlights outpatient clinical practice, as well as inpatient, hospital-based urologic care at WVU Medicine. Fellows receive hands-on procedural training and weekly didactic learning opportunities as they rotate through adult and pediatric subspecialties mentored by advanced practice staff in collaboration with faculty urologists.
Congratulations, Tessa, and keep up the good work!
