Visual Sciences CoBRE Seminar Series: Dr. Fliesler to give presentation on hereditary retinal degeneration

A visiting professor from the University at Buffalo will give a presentation on hereditary retinal degeneration as a part of the Visual Sciences Center of Biomedical Research Excellence Spring Seminar Series on Friday, May 26, at 1 p.m.

The presenter will be Steven J. Fliesler, Ph.D., FARVO. Dr. Fliesler is an endowed chair professor of ophthalmology and the vice-chairman and director of research for the Department of Ophthalmology and the Ira G. Ross Eye Institute, as well as a professor for the Department of Biochemistry and Neuroscience Graduate Program at the University at Buffalo. His presentation is titled "Hereditary Retinal Degenerations: A Tale of Two Lipids."

The presentation will be held in HSC North, Room 3129. No registration is required, and anyone is welcome to attend.
