WVU Hospitals Senior Leadership Change

Erica Shaver, M.D., currently Associate Chief Medical Officer for J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, will assume the position of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) – WVU Hospitals, a position currently held by system Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Michael Edmond who is expanding his WVU Health System responsibilities. In the position of WVU Hospitals CMO, Dr. Shaver will collaborate with the medical staff, ensure the highest standards of clinical quality and safety, and drive initiatives to improve patient outcomes at WVU Hospitals.
