Ingredients

  • 3 Haas avocados, pitted and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1 & 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime (2 tbsp)
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeds removed and finely chopped, or 1 and 1/2 chopped banana peppers, prepared the same way
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 large ripe tomato, chopped
  • Optional: 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Mash 2 of the avocados until they are relatively smooth using a fork in a medium bowl.
  2. Fold the cubed avocado and the remaining ingredients into the mashed avocado. Mix well.
