Students

The Department of Medical Education is committed to promoting excellence in teaching and learning across the continuum of medical education.  Our faculty and staff contribute to all aspects of the educational mission of the West Virginia University School of Medicine, including the admission of MD students, facilitating oversight of the MD curriculum and graduate medical education residency programs and the continuing education of our faculty.  The Department of Medical Education contributes to the service of West Virginia citizens by fostering rural health education.   Scholarship is also central to the Department of Medical Education, as we continue to explore new ways to implement high quality, interdisciplinary educational programs that prepare our students for patient-centered healthcare.
