Health Professions Area of Emphasis

For students who are interested in pursuing postgraduate training in fields such as medicine, dentistry, or pharmacy, or who intend to seek a PhD in exercise physiology, the WVU Division of Exercise Physiology offers an area of emphasis in health professions. 

Coursework for this area of emphasis begins during the freshman year. Twelve (12) credit hours of coursework in this area of emphasis may replace courses from the general list of requirements for exercise physiology.
