WVU in the News: Dr. Umer Najib recognized by American Academy of Neurology

Umer Najib, M.D., an assistant professor and program director of the Headache Medicine Fellowship program at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and the West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute was recently featured in the October 2019 edition of the American Academy of Neurology newsletter.

His clinical work focuses on headache disorders, including migraines, and Najib has been working to educate primary care doctors about the dangers of over prescribing opioids for the treatment of the same.
