The fellows participate in Translational Research Boot Camps and child-specific research retreat. Department research retreats are also available. Fellows actively participate in departmental quality improvement projects. The monthly Journal Club encourages critical thinking and appreciation of research methods, and to review scientific data knowledgably. Grand Rounds, which occur weekly, also serve as a forum to interact with visiting speakers. Annual continuing medical education conference on child and adolescent psychopathology hosted by our department provides additional opportunities for learning. Research methods and scholarly activities are further enhanced via an abundance of seminar presentations led by our faculty. Fellows have the opportunity to present research at SoM Van Liere research day and Quality Improvement projects at GME Week.
