SEEKING STUDENT FEEDBACK!  Beginning in May, the HSC cafeteria will close for renovations. A new food court, modeled on the successful WVU Evansdale Crossing project that opened in January, will open later this year.  Your collective ideas could have great impact on this project.  Please email wvuhealthsciences@hsc.wvu.edu and your suggestions will be forwarded to the group planning the space, eg; Do you want a breakfast option? How early should it open? How late should it still be open?

May 7 –Project REACH  will have a booth at the Cheat River Festival in Albright on Saturday, May 7 for  basic health screening, education outreach, and sphygmomanometry for as many CheatFest goers as we can.  Please sign-up if you may be interested, and we'll work out shifts and carpooling.

What’s Happening – Eastern

COMMUNITY SERVICE:  Sports Physicals- Students needed.  Dr. Cicchino is coordinating the community sports physicals for local High School athletes.   The physicals will be on Tu. Jun 7, Wed. Jun. 8 and Thu. Jun 9, from 5:00-6:30-6:30-8:00pm at the Dorothy McCormack Center.  There are up to 200 students per night.  This is a great way to practice doing physicals.  Please email horstj@wvumedicine.org  if you can help.

MANDATORY STUDENT PRESENTATION FOR COMMUNITY MINI MED SCHOOL:  Tuesday, May 17th, from 6:30 to 9:00pm.  All students will be divided into 3 groups, and each group will presenting their recipe from the MedChefs curriculum.  More information to come.
